The question of CAN swine flu kill you is yes whether your stressed or not, that’s the same with most illnesses, that is why they are called illnesses. But WILL swine flu kill you is highly unlikely. Just remember to practice good hand Hygiene as well as not going to school/work if you are sick. Every one is going nuts about swine flu when they don’t really need to. Just remember that while yes swine flu can kill you so can the regular flu and you’re not all freaked out about that are you? So just try to calm down and if you feel like you are having some flu like symptoms go see your doctor you may just have run of the mill flu.

The symptoms are very similar but more severe. It is a mixture of pig, bird and human influenza, which is why are bodies do not have a natural immunity to it. It seems that the numbers showing for infected are small because they either don’t know they have it or haven’t reported that they think they have it. I believe my entire family caught it (one of my sister’s has a boyfriend from mexico and he goes around a lot of places where new people are). I went to the doctor last week but it wasn’t a concern yet and wasn’t tested. But now my nephew’s doctor had my sis make an emergency appointment because my sis called her bout him (he is still sick). From the looks of things, its going to get much worse and cases are going to be pouring in.

The new swine flu virus apparently spreads just like regular flu and become airborne if infected person cough or sneeze without covering their nose and mouth, sending germs into the air. The virus is transmitted by saliva or droplets of sneezing from an infected person. You could pick up germs directly from an infected person, or by touching an object they recently touched, and then touching your eyes, mouth, or nose, delivering their germs for your own infection. Infected people can start spreading flu germs up to a day before symptoms start, and for up to seven days after getting sick, according to the CDC.

Does anyone have any info, or articles on the safety of the Swine Flu Vaccine here in the UK. WITHOUT the conspiracy theories. So far, It is known that the vaccine is being administered before the results of the trials are released.
It’s safe, I’m sure of that, I have friends who are GP’s and they’re confident with administering the vaccine. the only problem is that there’s now a strain of the vaccine which is resistant to tamiflu (the vaccine) so before too long it might not be any use.
There are always people who react to any vaccines, e.g. if they’re allergic to something in it, but there haven’t been any stories of people dying because of the vaccine, only because of the actual disease. Better to have it.
